I’ve always believed the line dividing marketing and conceptual art was so thin that sometimes it’s ethereal. It’s like “branding,” which is essentially storytelling without any provably measurable result (in short, my dream job—all of the creativity and no accountability). However, as an indie filmmaker, one must both make the art and market it. Hence, the initiative above to promote Werewolf Serenade.
Will it also end up in a Dutch art book? No. But a few clicks to tickle the Amazon Prime algorithm could do wonders (click here to tickle it yourself).
If you’re inclined, join our “Street Team” and print some Werewolf Serenade “Wanted” fliers to tack and tape hither and yon. Take a photo to post on your socials with the hashtag #werewolfserenade. — DH
